Are we checking our cell phones too much?

So I only wanted to show the first 30 seconds of this clip, but I couldn't find just that. But this is something to laugh at, but at the same time I think is a big problem with us today. I know that I have the problem of checking my phone way too many times in a day. Have we come to rely on our phones too much in order to communicate with those we associate with? Maybe we should all get this app Stephen Colbert talks about, and see how many times we check our phone in a day.
